Harry Coombs is his name and music is his game. Coombs, known to industry executives as a revered fixture of entertainment culture has been working in this business of music for over four decades. Presently, the industry veteran lends his experience and business acumen to recording labels as an independent consultant advising clients on their decisions for distribution, marketing, manufacturing and promotional needs worldwide.
During his movement as a record promoter,he met and established a relationship with the late great Ray Charles. It was Coombs who advised Charles to request master recording reversion from Atlantic Records.
As Eastern Regional R&B Promotions Manager at Capitol Records, he promoted Nancy Wilson, Freda Payne and Candi Stanton. As Executive Vice President at Philadelphia International Records, he guided the career’s of The O’Jays, the late Phyllis Hyman, Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls and Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes.
Coombs works as consultant for various labels seeking to discover new talent.

The first word that comes to mind is pride in what we have contributed to the music, entertainment and performances on stage, screen, playing fields, laboratories and business that have been enjoyed, copied, exploited through out the world, not only here in American,but all over the world.
