The inspiration behind WDKK is our understanding of how traditional radio worked hand in hand with independent artist and record labels by providing on-air exposure. On-air radio personalities were key to providing vast listenerships which caused the growth of many labels and radio stations. Now many, especially independent artist, are recognizing the value of over- Internet technology to promote and distribute their musical works.
